Computer Training Guidelines

IFCA will provide reimbursement to a salaried or hourly employee of any IFCA contractor member who has contributed to one of IFCA's industry advancement program funds with the carpenters, laborers, plasterers or tapers for a minimum of 12 continuous months.

The following guidelines have been established for eligibility:

  1. All IFCA contractor members are eligible for two computer training classes per year.

  2. An hourly/salaried employee must be a full-time employee of the IFCA contractor member.

  3. An hourly/salaried employee may select any business-related computer training program at any professional training center.

  4. Before any full-time hourly/salaried employee registers for any computer training program, IFCA's Computer Training Application Form must be completed by the attendee; signed by IFCA's contractor member; returned to the IFCA office via facsimile for signature and approval by IFCA's Executive Director.

  5. Reimbursement for a computer training class shall not exceed $150.

  6. An IFCA contractor member will receive reimbursement for the computer training program upon sending IFCA a Certificate from the professional training center indicating that the attendee completed the class as well as a copy of the paid invoice for the training.

The Educational/Program Committee may, for good cause or under exceptional circumstances, waive any of the above-referenced requirements, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
